Mrs. Gertrude Hagin Richardson, 78, was born April 20, 1941 to the late John T. Hagin and Louise O. Hagin in Williamsburg County, SC. She passed away peacefully at her home on August 7th, 2019.

She was a longtime Baptist, who started two churches with her husband in Florence. She was a member of Pembroke First Baptist.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Richardson; her brother, Jimmy Hagin; and sister, Ellen Lamb who she both adored.

She is survived by her two sons, John (Marion) Richardson of Pembroke, NC and Jim Richardson of Atlanta, GA; sister, Annette H. Langley that she loved dearly. She loved “her boys” and loved her sister Ellen’s daughters as if they were her own. She also had an “adopted” son, Mitch (Lisa) Love of Florence; her brother-in-law, Mickey (Gail) Richardson of Sumter, SC; and their girls remained in her heart also. She was blessed.
