Elmer Hunt

Mr. Elmer Hunt, 68 of Lumberton, was born on January 15, 1949 and departed this life on August 30, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shelby Jane Godwin; his father, Elbert Hunt; his mother, Mayola Brewer Jones and two sisters, Mildred Hunt and Satrina Locklear.

Mr. Elmer is survived by four daughters, Pam Hunt, Annette Carter, Sharon Hammonds and Dana Bell all of Lumberton; six brothers, Jerry Hunt of Wilmington, Antonio Hunt of Fairmont, Harland Dean Hunt of East Over, Chris Jones of Lumberton, George Jones of Lumberton and Stevie Jones of Lumberton; three sisters, Ola Jones of Lumberton, Amveline H. Locklear of Hope Mills and Kimberly Locklear of Red Springs; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
