Edward Godwin Obituary
Mr. Edward Lee Godwin, 76, of 33 Nestle Lane, entered into eternal rest on Sunday January 19, 2020 at his home.
Mr. Godwin was born in Robeson County on April 5, 1943 and was a son of the late Nathan Godwin and Martha Revels Godwin Locklear. He is preceded in death by a sister, Dora Pearl Godwin Locklear and two brothers, Billy Locklear and Ervin Godwin.
Mr. Godwin is survived by his wife, Jennie Godwin, of Lumberton; three sons, Bobby R. Hunt of New York, Edward S. Godwin of New York and Charles A. Godwin of Lumberton; two daughters, Jennifer L. Godwin and Sabrina L. Godwin of Lumberton; ten grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
