Docia Locklear Obituary
Mrs. Docia Locklear, age 93 of Frank Drive Pembroke, NC was born in Robeson County on July 9, 1924 to the late Mr. Zion Lowery and Mrs. Cora Bell Bullard and departed this life on February 6, 2018 at home.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Frank Locklear; five children Ray Fairley Locklear, Mary Ruth Chavis, Frank Locklear, Jr., Kendall Locklear and Jean Locklear; three brothers, Nash Lowery, Tyrone Lowery and Jimmy Lowery; one sister, Irene Brooks.
She leaves to cherish her memories, six daughters, Jeannette Locklear, Joyce Locklear, Mable Locklear, Annie Neil Locklear, Anita Locklear and Stephanie Locklear all of Pembroke, NC; two brothers, Prestley Lowery and Matthew Lowery of Pembroke, NC; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-nine great-grandchildren; eleven great-great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
