Carol Locklear Obituary
Mrs. Carol Jean Finholdt 61, of Pembroke, NC. She was born in Cumberland County on September 18, 1956 and departed this life March 22, 2018 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Carol had a huge heart, she loved her family and friends dearly. She always went the extra mile for other, she was loved by many.
She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Dale Finholdt; daughter, Carolyn Marie Allie; two brothers, Michael Dale Finholdt and Purnell Strickland.
She is survived by her husband, Stanford Ree Locklear; one son, Rico Allen Allie (Latasha); one daughter, Ashley Raye Sampson (Timmy); seven grandchildren, Ariel Denane Allie, Allen Michael Allie, Amelia Grace Allie, Aarriyah Faith Allie, Isaiah O’neil Locklear, Timothy Lynn Sampson and Jasiah O’lynn Sampson; her mother, Frances Marie Strickland; stepmother, Beverly Finholdt; brothers, Wallace Strickland, Purcell Strickland, Evan Strickland and Eugene Strickland; sisters, Jill Marie Lasanta, Francine Strickland, Annette Wytaske, Jody Maver, Carnie Hanko and Amy Byers; her favorite brother-in-law, Zeke Locklear; and a host of relatives and friends.
