Mr. Bruce Deese was born on August 8, 1944 and passed in peace at home on September 14, 2019.
He had a strong work ethic which started on a farm that lead to a career in pipefitting. He worked as an engineer designing and installing piping systems in the nuclear, pharmaceutical and power-generating industries for 40 years.
Mr. Bruce had a passion for outdoors, hunting and fishing. He never passed on an opportunity to include others, so they too, could enjoy the great outdoors. He is infamous for his art of conversation: telling stories about the ‘ol days, history and growing up on the farm. When asked any question, he quickly gave a clever and charismatic answer followed by a story learned from life’s lessons.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Belton and Irene Deese; brother, Jerry Deese; and a grand-daughter, Timara Sue.
Mr. Bruce leaves behind his cherished wife, Mary Sue Deese; his sons, Victor Deese (April), Derek Oxendine, Ryan Deese and a grandson raised as his son, Kyron Deese; daughter, Tara Deese; grandchildren, Anistyn, Gavin, DJ, Amber, Mark, Courtney, Akylles and Kalyssa; great-grandchildren, James, Jayden and Brayden Lee; two sisters, Brenda Collins (Kenneth) and Judy Chavis (Ted); two brothers, Jimmy Deese and Gary Deese; and a host of family and friends.
