Mr. Bradley Brantley Locklear, age 74 went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 10th, 2018. He was born on June 7th, 1944 in the Union Chapel Community. Mr. Bradley finished studies at Forsyth Technical Community College in Winston Salem, NC and went on to become a faithfully skilled Electrician for many decades before retiring. He had a Great Love for Family, Animals, Fishing, and Helping People.
Mr. Bradley was preceded in death by his parents Mr. Willard Brantley Locklear and Mrs. Pearlie Mae Locklear, his sister Mrs. Ruth Locklear Revels, two brothers Mr. George Locklear and Mr. Jessie Locklear and his Fur Babies “Precious” & “Abe”.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Paulette Revels-Locklear of Pembroke; Four Children; Three Sons Paul Locklear of Wilmington, NC, Dennis Locklear of Pembroke, NC, Aaron Locklear of Wilmington, NC; One Daughter Paula Richardson Locklear (Matt Richardson) of Lumberton. Sisters Foncine Collier (Derwood) of Greensboro, NC; Maxine Oxendine (Brantley) and Charity Revels (Ronnie) both of Pembroke, NC; brothers Calvin Cooledge Locklear (Dorothy) of Pembroke, NC, Dr. Jimmy Locklear (Joann) of Raleigh, NC and Dewayne Locklear (Sharon) of Lumberton, NC.
As a tribute to Dad, the children would like to say a special thanks to his family, friends, and caregivers for many prayers and support during difficult times. For Mr. Bradley family was the joy and love of life and was the reason for a strong determination to live despite his long illness. His family, especially his wife, provided care and support that made his days brighter.
