Mr. Bobby Hunt 72, of Jack’s Drive, Maxton was born March 15, 1947 to the late Mrs. Lorine Locklear Hunt and Mr. Willie Foster Hunt. He departed this life September 14, 2019 at his home surrounded by family.
He was preceded in death by a young brother, Ricky Hunt. Departing on the same day a beloved aunt, Mrs. Cattie Mae Hunt.
Bobby leaves to cherish his memory a wife, Doris; two sons, Gaylord (wife Barbie) of Maxton and Russell (wife Lisa) of Pembroke; one daughter, Bobbie Jo (husband Jason) of Maxton; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Billy Dean hunt (wife Judy) of Rowland and Glenn Hunt (friend Donna)of Maxton; three sisters, Geraldine Hunt of Illinois, Lisa Hunt of Maxton and Myrna (husband Samuel) of Pembroke; and a host of friends and relatives. Finally a special friend and co-worker at the tire shop Ismael Perez who shared time, conversation and love as they labored in the shop.
He served two years in the Army stationed in Germany as a military policeman. However, his first love was L & H Tire. At the shop, he was able to talk and share with customers. His great news was receiving Christ and he wasn’t ashamed to share his good news.
