Sister ' Money' and my mother (Myrtle Chavis Maynor-Aunt Myrt) were good friends. As I grew up in
the Lumbeton/Magnolia area I held her and her family in high esteem. May God continue to richly bless you with great memories of these two saints for their teachings have helped to mold many of us into what we are today. May God richly bless you and yours.

It is hard to find the appropriate words at such a difficult time. Some may say she lived a long life and that may be true by today's standard. But from the God's viewpoint she did not even live a day. The Bible shows that a day to Him is liken to a thousand yrs. That helps us to see that our lives are short compared to what He wants for us. He wants us to live not just a few yrs but forever. Death was never meant to be part of our lives. By means of Adam's disobedience, sin was introduced into the world. Romans 6:23 tells us: "For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord." Because of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ we have a guarantee that even those who fall asleep in death that are in God's memory will be brought back from the clutches of death. Yes as promised at Isaiah 26:19, our dead loved ones will live again under the conditions that God intended for them in the beginning- in a world as described at Revelation 21:3, 4. So sorry for your loss.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time. She was a wonderful, kind Christian lady, and I enjoyed sharing Christmas cards with her each year. She was always very kind and loving to me and all of my family. She will be greatly missed.

Hello McGirt Family, I'm a neighbor living in Fayetteville.
Having heard of your most recent loss, l
want to leave you a brief post. I too well know, the grief of losing love ones and that at times like these, it is encouraging just to know that others are thinking about us. Something that has really helped me to cope with such losses, is the wonderful promise of Christ Jesus, recorded for our comfort at John 5 :28,29. I hope, that when you are feeling up to it, that you are going to look up these powerful Scriptures, in your copy of The Bible. Also, I hope that this brief note, finds The Family feeling as good as can be expected Today.
With Greatest Sympathy, Your Neighbor, : P.D.Walker.
