Mr. Archie Clayton Locklear of Maxton, NC was born October 2, 1944 and departed this life March 30, 2018 at home.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Hector Locklear and Elizabeth Locklear; four brothers, and four sisters.
He leaves to cherish his memoires wife, Letha Locklear of 35 years; one son, Stoney Locklear; three daughters, Ann Hunt (Frankie), Meta McCall and Brittney McCall (fiancé Derrick); grandsons, Braeden Hunt, Dawson Hunt, Hylon Harris, Keithan Locklear and Ethan Locklear; granddaughters, Makya Locklear and Nahaven Smith; two sisters, Carrie Lois Evans and Clara Locklear; special sister-in-law, Lessie Locklear; and a host of relatives and friends.
