Mr. Abbeth Cummings, Jr. ages 78 of 22 Singletary Road Lumberton, NC departed this life on Thursday November 7, 2019 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
He was born October 13, 1941 to the late Abbeth Cummings, Sr. and Lillie Mae Cummings . He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Corenta Hunt and Mammie Cummings; one brother, Wade Cummings .
He is survived by his son, Terry Cummings and wife Susan of Lumberton, NC; mother of his son, Mary Gomez of Lumberton, NC; five grandchildren, Mary Beth Cummings of California, Danielle Cummings of Lumberton, NC, Stephanie Bethea of Erwin, NC, Felicia Eddings of Lumberton, NC and Brandon Lewis of Lumberton, NC; six great-grandchildren, Arianna Lee, Micah Lee, Aiyana Holloman, Cheyenne Cummings, papas little helpers, Sophia Eddings and Courtney Eddings; one sister, Annie Hammonds of Rowland, NC; two brothers, Sam Cummings of Rowland, NC and Nelson Cummings of High Point, NC and a host of relatives and friends.
