Sanford Bell

Sanford (Sam) Bell, 74, of 1159 Rozier Church Road, Lumberton, NC was born September 24, 1942 and went home to be with the Lord on September 24, 2016. He was a loving father, grandfather and husband.

Sam is preceded in death by his father, James (Son) Bell; his mother Lela Bell; a brother Carolus Bell and a stepdaughter Jeannie Brooks.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife betty Bell of the home; two daughters Barbara and Paula; two sons Ronnie and Victor; a stepson Ray and Angela Brooks of Raleigh and a stepdaughter Betty Brooks of Lumberton. He helped raise and love four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters Melba Brewer and Sharon Oxendine; two brothers Horace Bell and Jerry Bell; and a host of relatives and friends

In his last days he would ask are we going to church tomorrow. Now he has gone to be with the Lord.
