Sadie (Oxendine) Cummings

Mrs. Sadie Oxendine Cummings, 91, of Pembroke, NC departed this life and entered her Heavenly Home on November 16th, 2017. Her last days were spent at home surrounded by family and friends.

Sadie was proceeded in death by her parents, Joseph and Hester Oxendine; her Husband, Joseph Earl Cummings; two brothers, James Oxendine and Margolis Oxendine; a daughter, Barbara Ann Cummings Simmons; a son, Joseph Drake Cummings (Buddy), and a grandson/son, Joseph Randolph Cummings.

She is survived by two sisters, Elzetter Lowry of Pembroke, NC, Lolita Blanks of Lumberton, NC; three brothers, Charlie Oxendine of Pembroke, NC, Jerry Oxendine of Winston-Salem, NC and Michael Ray Oxendine of West Plains, MO; Four children, Sandra Cummings Revels of Pembroke, NC, Gloria Cummings Simmons (Lenwood) of Eastover, NC, Early Cummings, of the home and Geraldine Cummings Sexton (Andy) of Lumberton, NC; 17 Grandchildren; 17 Great-Grandchildren and a host of other Family and Friends.
