Rev. Daniel Locklear of White Pond Road, Fairmont, NC, was born March 1, 1957 to the late Carl Locklear and Annie Jane (Hunt) Locklear, went home with the Lord on Monday, February 12, 2018 at Southeastern Hospital, completing his journey of 60 years, in addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother; Glenn Locklear.
Rev. Daniel was a member at little Zion Freewill Baptist Church for many years. He was known by many over Robeson County through his Christian life.
He is survived by his wife Mable, for 23 years, three brothers; Carl Locklear of Rowland, James (Wanda) Locklear of Lumberton, Rev. Tracy (Ruby) Locklear of Fairmont, three sisters; Rosie Hunt, Patricia (William Buck) Thomas both of Lumberton ,and Mary Ann (Jimmy) Locklear of Lumberton, 9 grandchildren that he kept in home. He loved helping others that needed somewhere to live, and a host of relatives and friends Funeral Services is as follows, Visitation 2;00 pm, and funeral at 3:00 Friday, February 16,2018 at Little Zion Freewill Baptist Church at Midway.
