Monica Marie (Locklear) Velazquez

Mrs. Monica Marie Locklear Velazquez, 43, of the Union Chapel Community, went home to be with the Lord on August 5th, 2016.

Monica is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Catherine and Warren Lowery of Pembroke and paternal grandparents Merlin and Rosie Locklear of Pembroke.

She leaves to cherish her memories of her, her loving husband Roy Gabriel Velazquez of the home; four children, Courtney Scott (Kurt), Aaron Velazquez (girlfriend Kelcey), Cambell Chelsie Velazquez (boyfriend Ethan Locklear) and Roy Datra Velazquez; five grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Damien, Kylon, Landon, Hayden, Tony and one unborn grandchild; her parents Rose and George Locklear of Fayetteville; one sister Alyssa Locklear (Jamie) of Lumberton; one brother George Adam Locklear of Raleigh; one nephew and a host of relatives and friends.
