Loretta (Jones) Wynne

Loretta Wynne age 79, of Lumberton, NC was born January 25, 1938 to the late Rufus and Johnnie Bell Jones and departed for her Heavenly home on Sunday October 15, 2017.

   She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Wynne; two children, Edmund Oxendine and Patsy Jacobs; one great-granddaughter, Savannah Hunt; brother, Rev. James Jones; sister, Dessie Mae Jacobs.

   Loretta leaves to cherish her memories are, Rose Marie Oxendine of Florida, Furland and Rose Oxendine of Fairmont, NC, Tommy Oxendine of Pembroke, NC, David Oxendine and Wanda, Susan and Miguel Colon II and Pam Okazaki all of Lumberton, NC; two special grandchildren, Latoya Oxendine of the home and Gabrielle Colon and Brandon of Lumberton, NC; two special great-grandchildren, Oliver Locklear of the home and Alera Brielle Campbell; seventeen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren;  siblings, Bennie Mae and Sanford Edwards, Williamteen and Earl Tyler, Rev. Clennie and Rosie Jones, Felton and Darlene Jones, Perry Jones, Terry and Beth Jones and Anthony Jones; special sister-in-law, Treva Jones; and a host of relatives and friends.

   Loretta was widely known for her kind spirit, her famous Sunday dinners, baking skills and her green thumb. She loved the Lord, her church, her church friends, family, yard sales, shopping, photography and the many hours she spent in her yard gardening.
