Lois Dean (Locklear) Griffin

     Mrs. Lois Locklear Griffin, age 75 of Lumberton passed away peacefully while in the loving care of her family and Hospice Community care on Monday March 5, 2018 at her home.

   Mrs. Lois was a graduate of Magnolia High School. She later served as a T.V host for the Reverend Billy Locklear Evangelistic program for twenty years. Mrs. Locklear was a life time member at the New Point Baptist Church where she enjoyed her church family.

   She enjoyed walking, going to the gym and eating breakfast at Hardees with her friends.

   She was preceded in death by her husband Leslie Griffin Jr. (Sonny), her parents Reddy &Tessie Marie Locklear; two brothers, Rev. Billy Ray Locklear, Johnny Redell Locklear and one sister Elaine Locklear Oxendine.

    She was married to Leslie Griffin, Jr. whom went to heaven on December 18th 2006.

   She leaves behind her son Jeff Griffin, Jr. and wife Sheryl of Lumberton; her daughter Lisa Griffin Sualevai and husband Manu of Kinston, NC;  eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one on the way; two sisters, Brenda Locklear Lawson and Linda Locklear Baxley and a host of nieces, nephews, church family & friends
