Ms. Lillie Annette Locklear, 52, of 2524 West 5 th Street Lumberton, NC departed this life on March 14, 2018 at Southeastern regional Medical center.
Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday at Prospect United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Kenneth Locklear, Revs. Douglas Locklear, Harold Hunt and Jeff Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at Lumbee Memorial Gardens
Ms. Annette was born in Robeson County on October 28, 1965. She is the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Curency and Zelma Locklear. Ms. Annette was preceded in death by a nephew Gary Edward Thomas.
Ms. Annette worked with the public schools of Robeson County, at Fairmont Middle School for the past 29 years.
Ms. Annette is survived by her sister; Peggy Thomas (James Edward) of Lumberton, three brothers; Mr. Bobby Dean Locklear (Gwen) of Garner, NC, Mr. Ralph Locklear (Patricia) and Dexter Dwight Locklear (Kathy) both of Lumberton, NC, she also leaves to cherish her memories four nephews, five nieces, great nieces and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
Ms. Annette had many friends who loved her dearly, but she had three friends who were truly special, Darlene Hammonds, James Ray Hardin and Regina Hunt, were always there for her and were truly considered “Lifetime” friends.

The family will receive friends prior to the funeral services from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the church.
