John Hugh Locklear

John H. Locklear, 85, born to the late John Ander Locklear and Willie (Sugg) Lowry Locklear departed this life at his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, March 17, 2018.
  
He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce Kerns Locklear, son Keno Carroll Locklear and daughter Iris Laura Locklear.

Mr. Locklear leaves to cherish his memories daughters Mickey Locklear (Bobby) of Rocky Mount N.C., Pamela Locklear of Shannon and Melody Locklear of Lumberton, adopted daughters Chasity Locklear and Taylor Locklear of Florida; grandchildren Juan Carter, Dr. Shandal Emanuel, Mario Carter, Jermaine Lockee, Emilio Zapata, Tiano Zapata, JohnCarroll Emanuel, Recko Brooks, Meko Lockee and Meghann Locklear; twenty- two great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; two brothers Sam (Effie) Locklear, George (Rhonda) Locklear and sister Dorothy (Tom) Kennihan.
The family would like to recognize the following people who
held a special place in his life and heart Ralph Bolin, Steven Dial, Billy Fields, Pat Hunt, Lawrence Lowery, and his son-in-law Robert (Bobby) Moore.
