Jeanette (Jacobs) Allen

Mrs. Jeanette Jacobs Allen, 76, of 4789 S. Main St., departed this life on Monday September 19, 2016 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

  Mrs. Allen was born in Robeson County on May 23, 1940, the daughter of the late Johnson and Gaynell Jacobs.  She is preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Allen. 

  She is survived by her husband, Bishop C. C. Allen, Jr. of the home; her children, Jan Allen of Fayetteville, Chris Allen, III of Cleveland, TN, Patience Allen of Fayetteville, and Johannah Allen of Cleveland, TN; special God Children, Charles Woods, Shelia Locklear and George Marston; nine grandchildren, Joel, Joshua, Jeremiah and Jadynn Allen, Michael, Jade and  Trevor Locklear, Bryce and Brock Woods;  seven surviving sisters and three surviving brothers and one deceased brother; and a host of relatives and friends.
