Gloria Maynor Obituary
Ms. Gloria J. Maynor 68, of 8752 JG Farm Rd., was born August 15, 1949 to the late Rev. Charles and Mrs. Arpie Maynor.
She was preceded in death by her son, Alton Ray Locklear; her father, Rev. Charles W. Maynor: a brother, Charles Cameron Maynor; and sister, Bone Sue Oxendine.
Ms. Gloria is survived by her mother, Ms. Arpie C. Maynor; two sisters: Mrs. Edith Taylor (Bob) and Ms. Eunila Hunt; a brother, Mr. Charles Alton Maynor (Shelia); many nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
Gloria was an avid lover of her baby (as she called it) dog “Little One”. Gloria had a heart of gold and would help all that needed help. Gloria will surely be missed by those who knew and loved her.
