Eva Gretcha (Ward) Locklear

Mrs. Eva Gretha Ward Locklear, 75, of Aberdeen, Maryland and formerly of Lumberton, NC passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016 on Corpus Christi, Texas. 

Mrs. Locklear was born in Greenbrier County, West Virginia on October 12, 1940.  She was the daughter of the late Columbus Ward and Gretha Gibson Ward.  She is also preceded in death by her husband Mr. Roy Hilton Locklear.

She is survived by two children;  Penny Carter and husband Stanley Carter of Corpus Christi, Texas and her son, Edward Hurst and wife Lauren Hurst of Aberdeen, Maryland;  eight grandchildren, Curtis Lee Anderson, Christopher Roy Anderson, Joshua Edward Hurst, Lindsay Denise Hurst, J. R. Hurst, Yolanda Pollard, Jonathon Hurst and Heather Hurst;  3 of six great-grandchildren, Madison Nicole Anderson, Mason Anderson and Kassandra Anderson;  a loving niece, Debbie Kay Frasca.
