Carvey Lee Emanuel

Mr. Carvey Emanuel (Booty)  (74) of Lumberton, N.C. died peacefully on Wednesday, December 06, 2017 at SRMC Hospital. He leaves to mourn his death his devoted wife of fifty years, Dr. Linda Emanuel, two daughters Anissa Emanuel and Tonya Hunt (Dustin), Special sons Carl (Terena) Nephew and Bobby Nephew and one special daughter- Atoya Bellamy, Grandchildren: Justyn and Jacob Bullard,Koltin Hunt, Bryce and Nadia Nephew.

He was born in Robeson County, N.C. on July 29, 1944: a son of the late Sam and Lillian Emanuel.

He is also survived by four brothers John Wesley (JW), Billy, Eugene, Gelyne, six sisters, Faye Hammonds, Ipana Lamb, Scarlet Thomas, Glois Butler, Deneil and Debbie Emanuel. Carvey leaves to mourn his death a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends that were dear to his heart.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: Ertle Emanuel, Atlas Jr. Emanuel.

 Services will be held at Revels Funeral Home Friday December 8, 2017 from 6-8. The funeral will be held at Greater Hope International Church Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 2pm. Entombment will follow atLumbee Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends and visitors at his home at 852 Saddletree Road Lumberton, N.C. 28360.
