Boyce Lee Chavis

   Mr. Boyce Lee Chavis, 78, of St. Pauls, NC died Monday December 11, 2017 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. 

   Mr. Chavis was born in Robeson County on November 6, 1939, a son of the late James Worth Chavis and Lela Bell Chavis.  He is preceded in death by four brothers, Carvie Lee Chavis, Howard Chavis, Eddie Chavis and Vincent Chavis.

    He is survived by his wife, Susan Sanderson Chavis; a daughter, Rhonda Mintac (Manny Mintac); two sons, Lockey Lee Chavis (Robbie Chavis)  and Gary Wayne Chavis (Stephanie Chavis);  sisters, Marie Chavis and Shelby Smith,  and brothers, J.W. Chavis, Jr. and Terry Chavis; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
