Betty Lois Hunt

  Ms. Betty Lois Hunt 75, of 713 Ambay Rd, Pembroke, NC departed this life on Thursday February 8, 2018 at home.

 Ms. Betty was born in Robeson County on June 29, 1942. She was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to many. She often cared for others before herself. Ms. Betty retired form Robeson County Health Department, where she worked as a in home nurse.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Bessie and Elisah Hunt, three children; Terry Dean Hunt, Bobby Dean Hunt, Tonya Sue Hunt, one grandchild; Elijah Hunt, three sisters; Vertie Thomas, Reginia Chavis, Rosie Mary Pittenbarger, two brothers; James Hunt (Buddy), and Junior L. Hunt (Tiny).

She is survived by her son; Royce Wayne Hunt (Patrice), three grandsons; Brandon Wayne Hunt (Cassandra), Bryon Chavis, Keno Chavis, one grand-daughter Ahnyah Hunt, four great grandchildren; Dakota Parker, Noah Hunt, Ferra Hunt, and Isabella Hunt, four sisters; Margaret Brown, Genice Bowie, Edna Sampson, Kathy Oxendine, three brothers; Willie Hunt, Lee Edward Hunt, Jack Hunt, and a host of relatives and friends.
