Angella Carolyn (Odum) Britt

Mrs. Angella Odum Britt, 86, of Lumberton, NC died Wednesday August 1, 2017 at her home.             

   Mrs. Britt was born Feb. 23, 1931 in Robeson County to the late Berry and Annie Davis Odum.  She was a member of the Raft Swamp Baptist Church, a graduate of Columbia Commercial School, and a member of Robeson Co. Women’s Missionary Union.  Her passion in life was for missionaries at home and abroad.  She loved to play the organ or piano at all the churches she attended. 

   She was preceded in death by her husband Hollis Ray Britt, a son Greg Britt (age 9), three brothers, Roscoe, Lloyd, and Harold Odum; two sisters, Lorena Tyner and Hilda Tyner.

   Mrs. Britt is survived by two children, Tony Britt of Leland, NC and Coni Britt of Charlotte, NC.
